HALIMAH KYRGIOS

Halimah, a highly skilled performer and mentor, originates from Canberra, Australia. With an extensive background in Musical Theatre spanning over a decade, she takes immense pride in guiding and nurturing young talents towards success in the performing arts industry.Halimah trained at ED5 International, where she studied ballet, jazz, tap, commercial, contemporary, and musical theatre. Continuing her pursuit of excellence, Halimah was granted another scholarship to attend Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree in Musical Theatre. Halimah’s professional experience as a performer encompasses both national and international stages. Her impressive list of credits includes being a Season 10 Top 20 finalist on The Voice Australia, under the guidance of renowned coach Rita Ora. She has also showcased her talents in productions such as Starlight Express in Germany, Disneyland in Hong Kong, Universal Studios in Singapore and Japan, as well as Aladdin and La Cage Aux Folles in Singapore. Additionally, she has worked with The Production Company in Melbourne on the production of Kismet.Parallel to her on-stage career, Halimah has been actively involved in choreography and teaching vocals and dance across various locations worldwide. This unique opportunity has allowed her to provide her students with invaluable insights into the ever-evolving demands, trends, and experiences within the industry.As an adjudicator, Halimah considers it a privilege to contribute to the development of the next generation of performers. Her ultimate goal is to inspire and motivate each aspiring artist, ensuring that every competitor reaches their full potential both on and off the stage.
POPPY DONALDSON

Teacher and Choreographer Poppy Donaldson is currently based in Melbourne but was Born in a small town in NZ. Poppy has been Teaching for 16 years starting at just 14 years old, Poppy started her teaching career choreographing community theater and running dance classes in her hometown in NZ, this opened the door to more choreography and teaching opportunities while Poppy Finished her High Schooling.After graduating high school Poppy completed her certificate in dance focusing on Contemporary and Ballet at “Hagley School of Dance” in NZ before she was offered a scholarship to train full time at “The Edge Performers School” in Melbourne in 2012. Whilst in Full time Poppy performed at many events all over Melbourne and was part of Urban Beat Hip Hop crew. Whilst Performing and training Poppy realized her true passion laid in Teaching and Choreography this has always been her dream since a young child. Poppy’s teaching credits range from “Skip Regional dance company", “Masters of choreography” & “Rise the Performance Experience” as a featured choreographer to taking a team of dancers to compete at KAR Dance National Finals in Las Vegas Nevada where they made it to showcase finals night and made top 5. Poppy has worked all over Australia and Nz choreographing many styles and in recent years sharing her knowledge of turns and dance technique with dancers, teachers and studio owners alike.Poppy believes every dancer brings something special to the stage and can’t wait to see you all perform.
